Barcelona, in residence at the BSC AI Factory

AI engineers who join your team.

Lyra places AI engineers in your company to build the AI tools and automations your team needs. They work in your own systems, document what they build and train your people as they go.

From €4,500 a month. The first month is half price. See pricing

Founded in Barcelona by Stephany Oliveros and Kristina Talova, Lyra began with free AI workshops for women in tech. It still trains women for technical AI roles.

An engineer in your systems, not a slide deck in your inbox.

The first week is spent learning how your team works. Then your engineer builds and tests the tools that take recurring work off your plate.

What our engineers have built for clients

Invoices matched to the books automatically

The problem
Every invoice was matched to the ledger by hand, which took days at month-end.
What we built
A pipeline that reads each invoice, matches it against the ledger and flags only the discrepancies.
The result
The books close in hours instead of days. Finance reviews the exceptions, not every line.
  1. Invoices arrivePDF, email, scans
  2. Read and matchedagainst the ledger
  3. Discrepancies flaggedfinance reviews these only

Unused software licences found and cut

The problem
Accounts outlived the people who left, wasting money and leaving access open.
What we built
A script that checks every tool's active seats against the live HR roster.
The result
Unused seats get flagged and cut, and access closes when someone leaves.
  1. Every seat listedacross all your tools
  2. Checked against HRthe live staff roster
  3. Unused seats flaggedready to cut

New leads reach a salesperson in minutes

The problem
A new sign-up could wait up to 24 hours before anyone called.
What we built
A workflow that enriches, scores and routes each sign-up as soon as it arrives.
The result
Leads reach the right rep while they are still warm.
  1. Someone signs upform or demo request
  2. Enriched and scoredcompany, role, fit
  3. Sent to the right repwithin minutes

Failed payments flagged in Slack

The problem
Failed payments went unnoticed until the customer had already left.
What we built
A monitor that alerts the account manager in Slack as soon as a charge fails.
The result
Failed payments get followed up early, before the customer is gone.
  1. A charge failscard declined or expired
  2. Spotted right awayby a small monitor
  3. Account manager alertedin Slack

Explore AI engineering

From first call to your first project.

  1. Book a call

We look at your systems, your team and your backlog, and name what an engineer could build first.

  2. Meet your engineer

Review their profile and the work they have shipped before you commit to anything.

  3. Start building

Your engineer joins your tools and your team. Lyra runs part of the onboarding with you.

AI engineers and CTOs assess every engineer’s technical skills, and an organisational psychologist checks how they work with a team. If the match is not right, Lyra replaces them.

Questions before the call.

Book a 30-minute call
What is a forward deployed engineer?

An AI engineer who works inside your team and your tools, building and maintaining software that runs in production. Not a consultant who hands over a report and leaves.

What does it cost?

From €4,500 a month for the standard engagement, with a six-month minimum. The first month is half price. Shorter projects and longer placements are scoped on the call.

How quickly can an engineer start?

Engineers are usually matched within days. Lyra runs part of the onboarding with you, so they are working in your systems quickly rather than months later.

Who owns what the engineer builds?

You do. Everything is built on your own stack and documented as it is built, so you can take it in-house whenever you want.

What if the engineer is not the right fit?

Lyra replaces them with someone who is, and moves the original engineer to another project.

What happens on the 30-minute call?

We look at your systems, your team and your backlog, and tell you what an embedded engineer could build for you first. No generic pitch.

AI training your team will actually use.

Hands-on workshops for technical and non-technical teams, and advice from practising CTOs who still build every day. Your team leaves with ways of working it can apply the next morning.

Also building: Vega.

Alongside our engineering and training services, we are building Vega, a hiring agent that helps companies find and assess talent, with the reasoning behind every shortlist. In development: today, sourcing and screening run with a recruiter reviewing every match.

Members of the Lyra community gathered in a Barcelona street

Built with a community of women in tech.

Lyra began with free AI workshops in Barcelona. The community is where women build AI skills together, and where Lyra trains more women for technical AI roles.

Both founders know what it means to have qualifications overlooked and skills underused. They built Lyra so companies find the talent their filters miss, and women are seen for what they can actually do.
